NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi stressed on the role of government employees in reinforcing the country's internal security while distributing employment letters to over 51,000 new recruits at a virtual event.
The PM's call comes days after the Pahalgam attack and amid indications of Pakistan's effort to create internal security issues. "It is now your duty to strengthen nation's economy; it is your duty to strengthen our internal security; it is your duty to develop modern infrastructure; and it is your duty to bring about fundamental improvements in the lives of workers," he said.
The PM said he is confident of new recruits discharging their responsibilities with devotion. In his address, he said his govt is taking steps to create opportunities for employment & self-employment.
