The M25 has been closed after a crash between a lorry and a tanker. Drivers are being warned to expect major delays between Junction 5 and 7.
National Highways says the tanker, which was transporting waste, "overturned and ruptured" following the crash. It caused oil, diesel and waste to spill on the carriageway.
The crash was first reported at 4.14am on Wednesday morning and the road is expected to remain closed throughoutt the morning. Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
