Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins revealed this morning (Friday, September 12) that Prince Harry has made an unexpected visit to Kyiv in Ukraine following an invitation from the Ukrainian Government. Speaking directly to viewers about the breaking update, Charlotte said: "[Prince Harry] said he wanted to do everything possible to help the thousands of military personnel who have been seriously injured in the war with Russia.
"Harry and a team from his Invictus Games Foundation will reveal details of initiatives to support the rehabilitation of the wounded." The ITV star said the trip comes after a four-day visit to the UK during which Prince Harry had a face-to-face visit with his father, King Charles III, for the first time in 19 months.
As Charlotte delivered the breaking update, fans flocked to X with very similar comments about the Prince's latest move. One wrote: "So Harry, Mr, 'worried about his security', goes to a war-torn country! He has to get that PR!"

Another wrote: "Who cares. Stop giving this waster airtime." A third added: "It's so weird that he spends years making millions by telling the world what an awful family he has. He now acts as though nothing happened. Are we being gaslighted?"
Someone else remarked: "I'd be more impressed if the 'good deeds' weren't publicised."
However, defending Harry, someone snapped: "Why are you calling him a waster? Have you nothing better to do? He's the best of the royals."
Another said: "Prince William must embrace his younger brother and know he is a shining light to the world and stop being petty."
This is the second time Harry has visited Ukraine, and it's among the countries bidding to host the Invictus Games in four years.
Prince Harry's representatives confirmed his arrival this morning, telling The Guardian: "We cannot stop the war, but we can do everything we can to help the recovery process."
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays between 6am and 9am on ITV and ITVX.
