Pinkhas revealed she is recovering from a case of E. coli as she shared a photo of herself hooked up to an IV drip while on a family holiday.
The 45-year-old singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore-Hart, posted the update on Instagram showing herself reclining on a couch with a wine glass in one hand and an IV line in her arm. Her 14-year-old daughter Willow was seen alongside of her as she was seemingly offering support to her famous mum.
In the caption, Pink explained that her holiday had been unexpectedly disrupted by illness. She wrote: “This is all normal and everything is going really well."
She then joked about her unusual recovery routine as she added: “When you go on vacation and have food and E. coli decides to move into your gut you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine and a vitamin IV concoction.”

She concluded the post with a lighthearted reflection on her unfortunate holiday ordeal as she wrote: “Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade and great memories that I might remember.”
E. coli, or Escherichia coli, is a type of bacteria commonly found in the digestive systems of healthy people and animals. While many strains are harmless and even aid in digestion, others can lead to serious gastrointestinal illness, according to the NHS.

Pink did not share details about how she contracted the infection or whether she required further medical treatment, but the tone of her post suggested she is recovering well and has still got her sense of humour.
It comes after the singer revealed the true origin of her stage name Pink - and it's a rather risqué explanation.
With a career spanning nearly three decades, Pink has been a household name for many - but some of her devoted fans have only just discovered the surprising origins of her stage name.
Born Alecia Beth Moore-Hart, Pink began her musical journey at 15 with the short-lived girl group Choice. Her debut solo album, Can't Take Me Home, earned double platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America in 2000.
Since then, she's racked up an impressive array of accolades, including three Grammy Awards, a Daytime Emmy Award, four Billboard Music Awards, seven MTV VMAs, two MTV EMAs, and two Brit Awards.
Her extensive discography boasts hits like Just Give Me a Reason, So What, Try, Lady Marmalade, True Love, Raise Your Glass, Cover Me In Sunshine, Just Like Fire, and What About Us.
Despite her global success, many fans remain unaware of the true meaning behind her moniker, often assuming it's simply a fondness for the colour pink.

However, a statement on Life and Style, shared on IMDb, reveals the surprising, X-rated origins of her stage name, leaving some fans stunned: "I thought Pink got her name from her infamous hair colour. Anyone else? No?
"Ok. Turns out, Alecia Beth Moore didn't get her inspiration from a bottle of L'Oréal. Instead, the What About Us singer came up with the moniker while watching Reservoir Dogs - and the meaning is actually quite risqué.
She explained: "My best friend had never seen a white girl's vagina before so he asked me if I could see it, so I showed it to him and he said 'It's pink! Then my friends started calling me Mr. Pink."
