A gripping new series that recently landed on Netflix has left viewers absolutely raving, with fans declaring it's'the best' TV show they've seen in ages.
As the colder months approach, there's nothing quite like snuggling up on the settee with some treats and beverages whilst enjoying some edge-of-your-seat telly. Whilst it can frequently feel daunting to browse through various streaming platforms hunting for your next binge-watch, one woman is now encouraging people to discover the latest thriller series that's just dropped on Netflix. TV and movies enthusiast Elisha is known online for sharing her reviews and suggestions of the newest programmes and films for you to enjoy.
In a recent TikTokvideo, she proceeded to share her praises for a British thriller series that's recently been available to stream on Netflix, and she's urging everyone to watch it.

"If you loved Adolecence, you are going to love this show 'The Gathering'," she said at the start of the TikTok video. "It's a brand new six-part drama series and it's out now on Netflix."
The programme initially aired on Channel 4 in May 2024, but has recently been added to Netflix, sparking a surge of fresh viewers to become captivated by the mystery thriller series.
Elisha continued to reveal the storyline of the series, which takes place in Liverpool. It centres on the character Kelly, a teenager who is training to become an elite gymnast.
However, she is brutally assaulted at a beach party. The programme then delves into the events leading up to the celebration and the assault, alongside the circumstances surrounding them. It also examines the various characters, each from different walks of life, who could potentially be the perpetrator.
"It's giving insult culture, it covers SA [sexual assault], it talks about immigration issues, like difficulties that asylum seekers that come here illegally, what they face. It literally covers everything that you can think of," Elisha said. "Everything is going on in this show, but it's brilliant."
She then shared that the programme was created by the same production team behind the acclaimed series Line of Duty.
"Amazing casting, great actors," she said, mentioning that actor Warren Brown, recognised for his performances in Hollyoaks, Luther, and Shameless, features in the cast.
"Brilliant, brilliant show. I binged this and it was amazing," she said. "It was of a similar tone of Adolescence, but there was just a lot more going on."
Viewers quickly flocked to the comments section of the clip, with numerous fans echoing Elisha's praise for the programme.
"Just watched.. omg! ! Best thing I've binged in awhile," one person wrote.
"Just finished, absolute gold," a second viewer said, while someone else wrote: "Hated Adolescence but this was good."
A fourth person said: "Love this show, it's really not spoken about enough!"
Someone else praised: "I've just watched it. loved it, one of best things I've watched for a long time!".
