Guwahati: Tourists at Assam's Manas National Park had a close shave after a rhinoceros charged their safari jeep on Thursday. The incident, which took place in the Salbari Range of the national park, was recorded on camera and soon the video went viral on social media.
The viral video shows the rhino walking towards the jeep carrying tourists. The animal even tried to overturn the vehicle several times. According to reports, all the tourists on the jeep were safe.

In the video, another jeep was behind the vehicle which was attacked by the rhino. The animal was later scared away, reported NDTV. Forest officials were informed about the incident.
Several incidents of rhino attacks have also surfaced in the past. In January this year, a woman and her daughter fell in front of one-horned rhinos from a speeding jeep Assam's Kaziranga National Park. Fortunately, the duo escaped unscathed, even as one of the rhinos, ready to charge, ran towards one of the safari jeeps. A video of the incident went viral on social media.
