The first look of Shah Rukh Khan's film "King" not only excited fans, but some viewers even compared his look to Hollywood actor Brad Pitt's film "F1." Photos of the two stars are being juxtaposed online, sparking debate over whether Shah Rukh Khan took inspiration from Hollywood or if it was just a coincidence. Director Siddharth Anand has now responded.
Comparison of Shah Rukh Khan's Look to Brad Pitt's Look
Indeed, the first poster of "King" featured Shah Rukh Khan in a blue shirt and tan jacket, similar to Brad Pitt's look in his racing drama "F1." Social media was divided over this similar look. Director Siddharth Anand's Reaction
The film's director, Siddharth Anand, responded to the controversy by silencing the trolls. He shared a laughing emoji and the 'OK' hand sign on a post in which a user wrote, "If there's a ship in a Bollywood film, it's a copy of Titanic, if there's a jet, it's a copy of Top Gun, and now if there's a similar shirt, it's a copy of F1!" Siddharth's response made it clear that he's taking these baseless accusations as a joke.
