Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, a 2023 release made waves at the box office then. But why is it now sparking a global conversation? Netizens are buzzing over a surprising similarity between the film’s iconic background music and the soundtrack of Hollywood’s new survival drama, The Lost Bus, now streaming on Apple TV+. The comparison has fans flipping through clips, timestamps, and BGM beats, claiming that Ravi Basrur’s epic compositions for Salaar might have inspired—or been mirrored in—this American thriller.

In September, The Lost Bus, directed by Paul Greengrass and co-written with Brad Ingelsby, hit theatres in the US. By October, it became available on Apple TV+, but online discussions quickly turned to the film’s music. Fans noticed eerie similarities to Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Prabhas’ 2023 Telugu-language blockbuster.

Netizens point out similarities
Under the promo of The Lost Bus, one user claimed that the background music is from Salaar. Another pointed out the 1:13 timestamp, insisting it matches Ravi Basrur’s composition. Yet another mentioned that the background music sounds like it was taken from Salaar: Casefire.

On X, a user pointed out that at the 1:34 mark, the background music resembles Salaar.

Adding to the chatter, another fan pointed out that the BGM at 1:22 seconds was from Salaar, composed by Ravi Basrur, and mentioned that he has received 2–3 calls from Hollywood to compose music, highlighting the global impact of Prabhas’ blockbuster.
