The application process for Secondary Education Eligibility Test (STET) has started by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). Candidates who want to apply for Bihar STET 2025 can complete the application process through online mode. Educational Qualification

To apply for the Secondary Education Eligibility Test, the candidates must have passed graduation or post-graduation with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized institute in India. Also, the candidates should have a B.Ed. Degree and other prescribed eligibility criteria.

Exam Pattern

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination. In the written examination, candidates will be asked multiple-choice type questions of 150 marks from the specified subject matter and teaching art and other proficiency subjects.

Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates to apply should be 21 years as on August 01, 2025. However, age relaxation will also be provided to the candidates of the special category. The maximum age of male candidates of the general category is 37 years, the maximum age of general female and OBC candidates is 40 years, and the maximum age of SC and ST candidates is 42 years.

Examination Fee
Candidates will also have to pay the examination fee to apply. For General, OBC, and EWS candidates who want to apply for only one paper, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs 960, and the examination fee for both papers is Rs 1440. Apart from this, for SC, ST and Divyang category candidates who want to apply for only one paper, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs 760 and the examination fee for both papers is Rs 1140.
